Building Surveyor

Our Multi National Project Management Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Building Surveyor to join their team in the UAE to work on Residential, Commercial and Hospitality projects in the Emirates. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Building Surveyor on new build and refurbishment projects in the UAE and the wider GCC and a proven background working in a recognised PMC or Design Consultancy business. Preference will be given to candidates holding MRICs or CIOB accreditation. This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client. Key Responsibilities: They are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Surveyor who will play a vital role in conducting various building surveying tasks, including technical due diligence, reinstatement valuations, refurbishment or repurposing projects, and client management. Assist in conducting thorough assessments for property developments and refurbishments. Contribute to detailed reports for clients. Support in completing valuations for insurance purposes, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Aid in managing refurbishment projects, including inspections and negotiations between landlords and tenants. Collaborate with senior team members to maintain strong client relationships and deliver tailored solutions. Work closely with project and business leaders to provide assistance across various projects, from surveys to report preparation.

Building Surveyor Experience: Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or related field from an accredited international institution. CIOB or MRICS qualification is desirable. Minimum of 5 years of experience in building surveying, with expertise in technical due diligence, reinstatement valuations, and dilapidations. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients. Strong technical expertise in building construction, defects diagnosis, and condition assessments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools used in building surveying and valuation processes
