Job Summary: This role will oversee the production processes and planning activities related to glass reinforced composites (GRC/GRP/FRP). This role is crucial in ensuring that manufacturing operations are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's quality standards and production schedules. The candidate will assist in managing the production team, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring timely delivery of products. Key Responsibilities: Production Management: Supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure the production of high-quality glass reinforced composites. Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements. Coordinate with the Manufacturing Manager to develop and implement production plans. Planning and Coordination: Assist in the preparation and execution of production plans, ensuring optimal use of resources and materials. Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of raw materials and components. Maintain accurate records of production output, materials usage, and inventory levels. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications. Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production process to identify areas for improvement. Address and resolve any quality issues in a timely manner. Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor production staff, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members. Foster a collaborative and positive working environment. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices in the production environment. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and test new production methods and technologies. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies. Promote a safe working environment and address any safety concerns promptly. Conduct safety training and drills for production staff.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing in composites industry. Experience in production planning and team management. Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials used in advanced composites. Hands-on experience in Resin Transfer Molding, Resin Infusion, Vacuum Infusion, Injection Molding, Autoclave etc. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools. Excellent oral and written communication skills (to handle overseas clients). Preferred Qualifications: Engineering degree/diploma.
