Our Well Established and regarded Interior Fit Out Contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced Planning Engineer to join their team in Dubai to work on high profile Interior Fit Out, joinery and refurbishment projects in the Emirates. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Planning Engineer on high end interior fit out and joinery projects in the UAE and have worked in the capacity of Planning Engineer for a recognised interior fit out contracting company previously. This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity employed by our client. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including all phases of the project. Monitor and track project progress and provide regular updates to the project team and management. Identify potential delays and propose mitigation plans to ensure project timelines are met. Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to gather project information and requirements. Prepare and present progress reports, including S-curves, histograms, and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure all planning and scheduling activities comply with company policies and procedures. Conduct regular site visits to monitor and verify project progress. Assist in the preparation and submission of extension of time (EOT) claims and other project documentation. Utilize project management software and tools to manage schedules and track project performance. Support the project team with planning and scheduling expertise to achieve project objectives.

Planning Engineer Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in project planning and scheduling, preferably in Interior Fit Out, joinery and refurbishment projects. Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling techniques and tools. Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other planning software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
