Charterhouse are currently assisting a client, within the project and consultancy space, whom are in the process of looking to identify a Junior Accounting Analyst. This role will focus towards the oversight of areas of financial accounting and through data analysis, shall develop reports and MIS statements, to support the management accounting aspects of the finance team. This Accounting Analyst, will also be required to develop certain reporting policies and spreadsheeting processes, to ensure accurate and timely MIS and KPI analysis, across the business for management purposes. In conjunction, this role will also take ownership of the assessment of various performance metrics, to deliver analysis of any variances, cost variations and profitability forecasts, to support business and commercial decisions.

Within this recruitment piece, the client will look to identity a junior accountancy or finance professional, with an ability to understanding accounting entries whilst also being able to demonstrate an advanced understanding of Excel from both a financial data and analytical standpoint. This Analyst will also be required to demonstrate an ability to report at all levels within the organisation, whilst also being able to add commentaries and any analysis where required, to both data sets and the financial accounts. This role is well-suited to a candidate with two to three years of experience combined with an accounting or finance-related degree.
