Logistics Coordinator

Job Purpose: - The primary point of contact for all freight and logistics requirements. - Management of a smooth operation of incoming and outgoing materials. - Support is being rendered to the site lead along with the wider team operating on-site. - 100% adept with all industry-based incoterms and material handling protocols related to the scope. Job Responsibilities: Planning and coordination: - Develop and implement logistics plans to ensure the efficient movement of goods. - Coordinate and schedule transportation, warehousing, and associated distribution activities. - Sound knowledge of regulatory attestation, documentation, and freight requirements – UAE, GCC, and others. Shipping and receiving: - Oversight of shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Verification of incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness. - Ability to effectively coordinate with all stakeholders – internal + external. Supplier and carrier management: - Maintain and monitor logistics vendor ensuring compliance with internal protocols. - Coordinate with the procurement team on onboarding potential new vendors. - Management of vendor database and ensuring updated records such as ICV, and others. - Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and standards. Maintain accurate records and documentation for shipments, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs documentation. Documentation and compliance: - Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and standards. - Maintain accurate records and documentation for shipments, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs documentation. - - This is in addition to any other organizational documentation requirements. Problem-solving and troubleshooting: - Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and standards. - Maintain accurate records and documentation for shipments, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs documentation. Utilize the organization’s ERP systems: - Primarily IFS10 and potentially, SAP to manage + track shipments. - Updating all material/associated dimensions within the ERP to ensure the accuracy of system-generated documentation. - Consistently staying up to date with the ERP and industry best practices to improve efficiency within the process flow. Other Responsibilities: - Ensuring packing lists, delivery notes, and associated logistic documentation are maintained/filed effectively. - Ensuring the organization’s On-Time Performance on all orders is not impacted and maintained at 90% and above. - Ensuring 100% adherence to company EHS policies and protocols. - To report to the concerned authority regarding any incident/near miss. - To provide valuable feedback and suggestions pertaining to health and safety, and the environment to the company. - To comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and OSHAD policy, manual, procedures, and standard requirements.

- 3-5 years of logistics experience in this segment. - IFS ERP experience is a must. SAP can also be considered. - Full working level knowledge. GCC regulations and procedures. Import and Export. - UAE customs and associated portal handling knowledge. Ability to work with industrial license requirements. - Excellent in English. Any other language skills will be of added benefit. - Responsible/accountable, disciplined, positive attitude, time-bound execution, team player. - Nationality: Sri Lankan, Nepal, Indian, Middle East, Asian Subcontinent. - Age: 25 – 28 years. - Open to both male and female candidates.
