Purpose of Job
Coordinates monitors and verifies Automation Engineering
aspects in the major projects.
Identifies user requirements for DCS systems, advanced control, process
optimisation and presents to Projects Coordinator and management with
relevant technical and financial justifications for adoption.
Review conceptual design and specifications of new /
amended systems and identify any implementation problems.
Reviews deficiencies and discuss provided solutions by Vendors for
various issues related to Distributed Control System (DCS), Advanced
Process Control (APC) and Real Time Database (PI), plant automation and
Third party systems Integration to DCS such as MCM, IPCS, MCC and FAS.
Skills,Experience and Education
- BSc / BE in Chemical Engineering.
- 9 years’ experience in refinery and process control applications and databases.
- Good working knowledge of relevant computer applications and software.
- Good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable.
