Overview
The Business Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various projects related to new and existing business initiatives, as well as managing day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth operations across MBPC. This job is responsible to drive successful project delivery, optimize efficiency, and contribute to growth and expansion, all while utilizing data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize business operations and drive growth in alignment with the group’s objectives.
- Plan, execute, and monitor all stages of existing business projects using data-backed insights.
- Collaborate with Sales, Aftersales and the CPO department to ensure adherence to company standards, policies, and guidelines.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for individual dealerships and the overall network to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead efforts to optimize dealership processes related to sales, service, inventory management, customer experience, and personnel management.
- Provide guidance and support to all MBPC departments in resolving operational challenges and implementing best practices, support in developing SOPPs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, informed by analytics and market research.
- Ensure adherence to timelines and budget constraints, with continuous monitoring and adjustments based on data trends.
- Efficiently manage daily operational tasks and assignments based on data-driven priorities.
- Utilize data analysis to proactively identify potential risks and challenges in projects and tasks.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making among team members and stakeholders.
- Provide regular data insights, updates, reports, and presentations to management, utilizing analytics to support recommendations and strategic direction.
- Utilize data-driven insights to ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and align with company objectives, making data-based adjustments where necessary.
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency through data analysis.
- Lead the implementation of MB Solutions, integrating both digital and physical sales elements to enhance customer engagement and streamline sales processes.
- Oversee the sales funnel, ensuring effective management and accurate reporting of sales activities, pipeline status, and conversion rates.
- Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure compliance and satisfaction, including monitoring performance metrics and administering necessary adjustments.
- Ensure the availability and functionality of adequate systems and reporting tools to support sales activities and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate whether the sales team follows standardized processes for customer interaction, test drives, vehicle presentations, and negotiations.
- Examine the service department's processes, including appointment scheduling, customer communication, quality of repairs, and use of genuine parts.
- Verify that all necessary paperwork, contracts, and documentation are accurate, complete, and comply with legal and brand requirements.
- Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilize sound judgment in decision making.
- Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.
Qualifications
Work Experience
- A minimum of 5-7 years working experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the automotive industry
Education Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
