Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain AML policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Transaction Monitoring: Monitor and analyze financial transactions to detect suspicious activities that may indicate money laundering or other financial crimes.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability and recommend actions to mitigate risks.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit suspicious activity reports (SARs) to regulatory authorities as required by law.
- Training and Awareness: Provide AML training to employees to ensure they understand their responsibilities in detecting and reporting suspicious activities.
- Audit and Compliance: Assist in internal and external audits related to AML and ensure that the organization meets all regulatory compliance requirements.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments and external agencies to investigate and resolve AML-related issues.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on changes in AML laws and regulations and adjust the organization's policies and procedures accordingly.
