Product Sales Manager – Building Materials

A leading high-end tiles and sanitary ware trading company in Dubai is looking for an experienced and results-driven Product Sales Manager – Building Materials in an Interior and Exterior Finishing Materials Trading Company to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sales of high-end Tiles, Parquet, Sanitary Fixture, Sanitary Ware, Sanitary Accessories, Mosaic and Glass products. This role requires a deep understanding of the market, strong sales acumen, and the ability to lead a sales team to achieve targets and drive business growth.

 

Responsibilities:

·    Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns that drive product awareness and sales.

·    Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including architects, designers, contractors, and retailers.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

·    Team Leadership:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
  • Provide coaching and training to sales staff to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans as necessary.

·    Product Knowledge and Promotion:

  • Develop a deep understanding of product lines, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide market feedback and influence product enhancements.

·    Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Track and analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Manage the sales budget and ensure cost-effective operations.

 


 

Knowledge, skills, competencies and experience:

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA is a plus.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role withing the building material trading industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar role.
  • Experience in managing and leading a sales team.
