Process Designer
- Perform design or redesign of business processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze, implement, and update processes so as to ensure company goals are met.
- Analyze the effectiveness of current process in order to develop strategies to improve workflow effectiveness.
- Determine critical root cause analysis to drive strategic change to improve the current process environment.
- Train and guide the team on process design improvements.
- Ensure full integration of all process and linkage to best practices.
- Provide technical and analytical support on various process strategies.
- Manage and lead process design team to achieve process or project objectives.
- Manage multiple projects or initiatives at one time.
Skills,Experience and Education
- 3-5 years in process piping design
- Experience using AutoCAD Plant 3D is a plus
- Fluent reading piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), process flow diagrams(PFDs), and block flow diagrams (BFDs)
- Working knowledge of best practices for aseptic/hygienic piping design
- Ability to produce construction documents (isometric spool drawings, orthographic plan and elevations, equipment layouts)
- Experience creating detailed 3D models of equipment using Autodesk Inventor, or similar part modeling software.
- Familiarity with piping materials and fittings
- Background with Navisworks/point clouds for coordination with other disciplines
- Experience working with point clouds and integrating in designs is a plus
- Computer literacy is a must including Microsoft Office Suite
- Willing to collaborate with other team members and have good interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively, which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Focused, with great attention to detail
- Willing to grow in a continuous teaching and learning environment
- Must be quality minded and self-motivate
