Charterhouse is working with a tech-driven client specialising in the design and production of mechatronic digital billboards and displays, integrating advanced IT solutions with innovative mechanical systems for dynamic advertising and interactive visual communication. Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful applicant will lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing technical direction and support for ongoing projects, focusing on high-quality engineering solutions that meet project requirements. They will ensure that the engineering teams delivers projects on time and meet client expectations.

This role will require oversight of the development and implementation of technical strategies to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes. A focus on innovation will be key in this position to maintain the company’s edge, this will be achieved through the use of new technologies and methodologies.
Consistent development of the team will be necessary in this position. It will require the identification of skill gaps and the ability to implement training programs to advance the technical capabilities of the team.

About you
Applicants for this position ideally must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, preferably in mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering. A minimum of five years in technical leadership, managing multidisciplinary engineering teams will be required. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills will be paramount for success in this position.
