Store Manager

To manage the daily operations of the store which includes sales, Retails Operations - SOP adherence, marketing, administration, stock management, staff management, VM and to meet the business target.


Sales:

  • Developing store strategies monthly and drive the same in order to deliver the set goals and increase the customer pool.
  • Monitor and analyse the sales data, walk-in data, walk-out data daily to ensure the store targets are met.
  • Interact with customers and ensure conversions and provide excellent customer experience.
  • Ensure the customer journey laid down is followed to deliver best experience to the customers.
  • Align with business requirements and ensure to keep the entire team on the same page to deliver the expectations set by the business.
  • Ensuring highest levels of customer satisfaction through excellent services by every team member.
  • Upstream necessary relevant information to the higher management following appropriate hierarchy.
  • Provide inputs on potential growth area in order to improve business.

Operations:

  • Manage day to day operations at the store. Ensure end to end process is followed and store operates smoothly and effectively.
  • Delegate responsibilities and ensure closure of all day to day activities.
  • Conduct morning meetings and share business details and plans with the team on daily basis.
  • Guide and brief the team on the business acumens daily in order to know the daily requirements to achieve the set goal.
  • Ensure entire team is aware on all the processes and daily operational activities.
  • Maintaining attendance record, grooming standards, operational elements, order tracker, litmus tracking.


Staff management

  • Prepare the roster and share it with the Area manager to validate the same on weekly basis and abide by the same. Any deviations to needs to be pre-approved before implementation.
  • Manage the staffing in order to cover the floor at all given point of time.
  • Identify the staffing gap and raise the request to the area manager.
  • Maintain adequate staffing at any given point of time at the store.
  • Ensure customer complaint resolution, manage complaints effectively and provide better services & customer satisfaction

Stock Management:

  • Monitor stocks and prepare the stock requirement request as per the sale & customer preferences.
  • Maintain clean inventory and take necessary actions.
  • Ensure all commercial & financial compliances.
  • Co-ordinate with different departments in order to get necessary closure.
  • Participate in interacting with the nearby ophthalmologist, banks, office towers etc. to improve the visibility.


Feedback & Training

  • Share feedback with the corporate team with regards to operations, retail, products, merchandising in order to give best customer experience & satisfaction
  • Share product knowledge with the entire team and keep the team updated with all the new developments and request for necessary training required.
  • Drive a culture of diversity, performance & transparency and ensure staffs are engaged.
  • Mentor & develop staff using a supportive & collaborative approach.
