Assistant Accountant

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our Master Agency team. In this role, you will oversee financial transactions for exclusive projects, ensure compliance with regulations, and work closely with various departments to optimize financial processes.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Administration:

  • Manage and distribute inflows for exclusive projects within escrow accounts on the Dubai Land Department (DLD) portal's Trust Account System (TAS).
  • Align funds for Commission Expense Payouts, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial transactions.


Transaction Management:

  • Oversee TAS inflows and cash deposits for multiple concurrent exclusive projects.
  • Conduct reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to ensure precise allocation and recording of inflows.


Communication & Coordination:

  • Maintain regular communication with the Relationship Manager (RM) to track escrow balances and manage fund allocation.
  • Confirm payment modes for Unit Registration and verify eligibility for Initial Contracts based on realized collections.


Commission Verification:

  • Verify and process external broker commissions according to agreements and policies for both active and dormant exclusive projects, using appropriate channels.


Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and present fund position reports to assist management in making informed decisions regarding fund allocation.
  • Provide Statements of Account for external brokers as needed for management review.


Compliance & Record-Keeping:

  • Ensure compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) and DLD regulations for received invoices related to exclusive projects.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in Odoo, process payments, and generate reports regularly.


Customer Support & Coordination:

  • Support Sales, Sales Admin, and Collections teams with customer collections by matching Proof of Payment (POP) with bank statements.
  • Verify client receipts through various channels for completeness and accuracy.


  • Process Improvement:
  • Assist with onboarding processes and suggest improvements to workflows, including enhancements to the CRM system.


Audit Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal and RERA auditors, providing necessary assistance and ensuring thorough completion of audit tasks.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with exclusive real estate or property management projects.
  • Proficiency in Odoo ERP and other financial software.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, including FTA and DLD compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple exclusive projects with attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of process improvement and proactive problem-solving.
