Job Summary
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure guests live the “Ultimate Experience”.
- Provide hands-on support, direction and assistance to colleagues on all areas of their assigned duties ensuring highest levels of service and courtesy are provided to guests.
- Handle guest complaints according to policy.
- Ensure room/restaurant set up is according to set standard.
- Develop and maintain an elegantly appointed environment, with superior colleagues, dedicated to an attentive, distinctive experience for all dining periods.
- Perform opening and closing duties as when required ensuring that the outlet will be ready for the business opening.
- Ensure the correct and consistent service techniques for various meal periods is done.
- Anticipate, in advance, all materials and supplies and assure their availability.
- Control usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment.
- Understand all food and beverage items offered, including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service.
- Promote good public relations and handle complaints or concerns of guests.
- Utilize the computer system in ringing, printing and closing checks as well as shift reports.
- Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
- Identify guest preferences and communicate with the teams.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- High school Diploma/Hotel School Degree.
- 2 years minimum in a similar role in a 5 * international environment
- Up-selling skills training, HACCP.
- Knowledge of Micros system
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Experience working in a multi cultural environment.
- Organized and well planned.
- Able to work with speed and efficiency throughout maintaining positive attitude.
