Job Overview


The Sales Executive is responsible for driving the sales of vehicles and maximizing revenue for the dealership. This job interacts with customers, understand their needs and preferences, provide exceptional customer service, and guide them through the entire sales process.


Job Responsibilities


  • Actively engage with potential customers to understand their automotive needs, provide information about available vehicles, and offer suitable options to generate sales.
  • Utilize persuasive selling techniques to close deals and achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing accurate information about vehicles, pricing, financing options, and promotions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay up to date with the latest automotive industry trends, features, and specifications of the vehicles in the dealership's inventory.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge to assist customers in making informed purchase decisions.
  • Guide customers through the entire sales process.
  • Efficiently handle paperwork, negotiate pricing, arrange test drives, and coordinate with other departments such as finance and insurance to ensure a smooth and seamless sales experience.
  • Actively seek out potential customers through various channels, including referrals, online platforms, and community networking events.
  • Follow up on leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential target segments, understand customer preferences, and stay informed about competitor activities.
  • Utilize market insights to develop sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and vehicle inventory.
  • Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge and skills through training programs, workshops, and self-study to stay updated on automotive industry advancements, sales techniques, and dealership policies.
  • Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilize sound judgment in decision making.
  • Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business


Role Specifications


Work Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in automotive sales
  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar role within the automotive industry


Educational Qualification Training

  • Minimum High School diploma.
  • Sales certifications or recognized motor industry qualification preferred
