JOB PURPOSE
Support the Assistant F. & B. Supervisor in maintaining a smooth operation of services in the outlets, area or functions where assigned, ensuring that they are served customers in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensure that all guests/customers are served in a professional, efficient and courteous manner.
- Support in maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation by wiping down surfaces and making sure that serving utensils, plates, and glassware are polished, organized, and readily available for service according to standard procedures and in adherence to hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
- Assist with table service and ensure the dining areas remain clean and organized by promptly clearing dishes to maintain a tidy and inviting dining environment.
- Check on food and store orders received, maintain stock of required items / articles while ensuring compliance to the Hygiene and Safety Standards.
- Report to the Assistant F& B Supervisor about any complain, staff absenteeism or shortage in stocks.
- Provide regular guidance to staff and ensure that assigned staff are performing their duties and tasks professionally and satisfactorily.
- Take orders from customers and ensure these are given to the appropriate staff to execute. S/he makes sure that the staff collects all items from the kitchen according to the written order and serves the customer accordingly.
- Ensure that all reports required during the shift are completed and correctly filled in to reflect the progress of the operation including stock control.
- Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 international standards and executes his responsibilities according to the department work procedures while reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.
Essential Requirements & Competencies
Education Qualification:
a) Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
Work Experience:
- Years of Experience: 4 years of experience in a reputable Hotel or Restaurant
- Area of Experience: Knowledge of Food and beverage items.

- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
