Merchandiser

What You’ll do:


  • Planning and developing merchandising strategies.
  • Analyzing sales figures, market trends and customer behavior to determine product needs.
  • Stocking sales floor shelves and creating attractive product displays.
  • Ensuring retail staff are well informed on product details and promotions.
  • Maintaining and tracking inventory.
  • Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities, and timescales
  • Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
  • Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory
  • Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets
  • Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc
  • Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Remain up to date with industry’s best practices


What you will need:


  • High school diploma required as Minimum Qualification.
  • Previous experience in Modern Trade Merchandising preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to “decode” customers
  • Valid driver's license.
