What You’ll do:
- Planning and developing merchandising strategies.
- Analyzing sales figures, market trends and customer behavior to determine product needs.
- Stocking sales floor shelves and creating attractive product displays.
- Ensuring retail staff are well informed on product details and promotions.
- Maintaining and tracking inventory.
- Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities, and timescales
- Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
- Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory
- Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets
- Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc
- Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Remain up to date with industry’s best practices
What you will need:
- High school diploma required as Minimum Qualification.
- Previous experience in Modern Trade Merchandising preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to “decode” customers
- Valid driver's license.
