Training Officer

 

Synopsis:

The training Officer Reports directly to the Manager Safety Training & Promotion and is responsible for assisting with the coordination and preparation of Safety promotion events including, but not limited to, seminars, workshops, forums and conferences

 

Accountabilities:

  • Assisting in projects initiated by the Safety Promotion section
  • Conducting classes and briefings for Safety Promotion department 
  • Administrating all records for safety training courses
  • Researching and assisting with drafting of articles for safety publications 
  • Researching best practices that improve safety promotions and safety culture
  • Developing training materials for use in classroom and online training events
  • Developing training materials for use in classroom and online training events 
  • Developing close relationships with operational line managers that drive the development of Safety Culture
  • Additional duties and responsibilities, as reasonable expected, may be assigned as required

 

Education & Experience:

  • A minimum of a Diploma in Safety Management 
  • Completed train the trainer course 
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience or graduated the Etihad Graduate Managers Program 
  • Fluent in written and Spoken English Language
  • Advanced level competence in Microsoft Office Products 
  • Advanced Knowledge in learning technologies
