Job purpose:
To Encompass multiple disciplines ensuring the functionality of du offices, retails and warehouses by integrating people, places, process and technology. Maintain all du assets for Offices, Warehouses and Retail outlets by efficient and effective maintenance to prolong the asset life cycle and decrease life cycle maintenance costs. Manage outsourced contractors to ensure that all Facilities related issues (Hard, Soft services and Administration) are handled in professional manner and provide a comfortable working environment for du customers and employees.
To design, review and manage mechanical and Audi Visual services within Facilities Projects, coordinate with projects’ stakeholders at design and execution stages to deliver the project according to company standards, local authority’s regulations and as per the allocated budget, time frame and quality required.
Key accountabilities:
- Managing the facilities services portfolio (planning, organizing, auditing, reporting, review & improve) such as
- Maintenance of MEP services, AV services, Fire Services, and Specialized Services.

- Administration
- Planning, implementation & reporting the preventive maintenance for all the assets of du
- Develop communication plans for internal and external customers
- Plan and organize the bi-weekly / monthly meetings to monitor and evaluate the Facilities operations
- Create the Operational and HSE Audit Plans for the vendors
- Develop the SOP’s and Job plans for the assets to ensure the quality maintenance
- Develop the Business continuity plan comprising the emergency and risk management plan and procedures
- Prepare Energy management plan based on sustainable and LEED strategies
- Prepare feasibility reports of new projects for Mechanical services through site survey and review of as built drawings
- Develop and prepare Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning (HVAC), Firefighting, Plumbing and Drainage design drawings including calculations, specifications and Bill of Quantity
- Coordinate all services such as electrical, HVAC, Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Access Control, small power, lighting, CCTV, Drainage and Chilled water systems during design and execution stages
Qualifications, Experience:
- More than 7 years’ experience in Facilities Management Operations, Audio Visual and Mechanical Design
- Project Management experience is a Plus
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical)
- Energy management certifications is a Plus
- LEED Accreditation is a Plus
