We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cross-department processes and understanding the requirements for current and new IT systems to prepare business requirements documents.
Responsibilities:
Prepare Cross-Department Processes & Process Optimization:
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their processes and workflows, conduct in-depth analysis of cross-departmental processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement streamlined processes that enhance productivity, efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall business performance.
- Compare existing processes against industry best practices, company standards, or desired outcomes. Identify gaps or discrepancies and recommend improvements.
- Create detailed process documentation, including flowcharts, diagrams, & procedures.
- Design and propose new or improved processes that streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Develop a communication plan to inform stakeholders about process changes. Provide training and support to ensure smooth implementation.
Requirements Gathering and Business Requirements Documentation:
- Elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements for existing and new IT systems.
- Conduct discussion sessions, workshops, and surveys to gather information from stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications.
- Prepare comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that clearly articulate the scope, objectives, and deliverables of IT projects.
- Ensure that BRDs are aligned with business strategies and meet the needs of key stakeholders.
- Manage changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define the rules and constraints that govern the system's behavior and decision-making processes.
- Create a visual representation of the system's boundaries, interfaces, and interactions with external entities.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
- Effectively communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicts.
Data Analysis:
- Leverage data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
- Prepare data-driven reports and presentations to support business cases and recommendations.
Qualification, Experience and Job Specific Skills:
- Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an IT company or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, such as UML, BPMN, and requirements management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Certification in Business Analysis.
- Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Experience with project management and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, or R.
