Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily financial transactions, bookkeeping, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role requires a self-starter who can take full ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) reporting process and assist with various finance-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Posting of Expenses: Accurately record all company expenses and transactions on a daily basis.
• Bookkeeping: Maintain and update financial records, ensuring all transactions are documented correctly.
• Petty Cash Management: Handle petty cash, including disbursements and reconciliation, ensuring all expenses are properly recorded and accounted for.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and report on the company’s cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds for day-to-day operations.
• P&L Reporting: Take full ownership of the P&L reporting process, including preparation, review, and analysis of monthly financial statements.
• Assist with Month-End and Year-End Closures: Support the finance team in month-end and year-end financial closures and audits.
• General Administrative Support: Provide additional administrative support as needed, including preparing reports and managing financial documentation.

Skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong Proficiency in accounting software Xero, Books as well as and MS Office, particularly Excel and financial analysis.
• Strong grasp of accounting standards and regulatory requirements, with a demonstrated ability to manage financial statements, perform reconciliations, and lead successful audits.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
