JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Digital Marketing Assistant
Reports to: Press and Communications Manager
Purpose:
The digital marketing assistant supports the Press and Communications manager and senior Marketing Coordinator with various activities related to marketing and communications campaigns, including design coordination for the campaigns, advertisements, and socials. The assistant also updates the SAF website on a daily basis and ensures the pages are updated in both English and Arabic.
This role includes working closely alongside the press communications coordinator to brief the photography team about the requirements of the communications team, ensuring photos are delivered within the dedicated time period and reflect the needs of communications. As well as the task of selecting preopening, post-opening, and specific images as needed.
The digital marketing assistant is a key player in maintaining SAF’s online presence. They focus on working on the social media calendar visuals, including producing reels and videos when required, and ensuring all the visuals are ready to be posted. They work closely with the communications content coordinator to ensure that the content and the visuals are synced, a task that is essential for the SAF’s digital marketing strategy.
Additional tasks include - performing market research, assisting with emailers, and performing administrative tasks like collecting resources and marketing materials for campaigns.
Images Selection-
- Briefing the photography and video team about the communications department photo, video and images requirements prior to openings, alongside the press and communications coordinator.
- Work on the image selection for the communications department requirements.
- Selecting preopening, post-opening, and specific images as needed.
Marketing and Design Coordination
- Coordinate with design for marketing, mailers, and social media visuals.
- Support content coordinator when required.
- Assisting with email newsletters
- Track and monitor performance for all digital content projects
- Market research
- Administrative tasks for the communications team
Social Media
- Updating the social media visuals status on the social media calendar
- Proactively bring ideas for content, promotions, video scripts, blogs
- Contribute to content creation for socials by creating reels and videos
Website
- Update and publish news, events, homepage, and exhibition web pages.
- Coordinate with the IT team for website requirements.
- Monitor website feedback
