ABOUT THE COMPANY


Emaar Malls (EMG) offers a gross leasable area of over 9.5 million sqft in Dubai. Emaar’s mall assets

include The Dubai Mall, Dubai Marina Mall, Dubai Hills Mall, Dubai Creek Harbor, Souk Al Bahar,

Downtown Boulevard and its surrounding Communities, Regional & Community Centers (R&C), Gold & Diamond Park and several assets designated for office accommodation and commercial use.


ABOUT THE ROLE

The role is responsible for working alongside the team overseeing the retailers to deliver short,

medium, and long-term expectations of all stakeholders whilst advancing our understanding of retailer profitability, operations, and sustainability. The role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of tenants during their tenancy. This will include developing and managing effective relationships across tenants, the mall management team, and customers.


This role will ultimately build relationships to ensure the successful delivery of the short-, medium and long-term expectations of Dubai Mall stakeholders whilst implementing strategies to advance our retailers revenue, profitability, and operations.


ABOUT THE FUNCTION


The Retail Relationship department is responsible for managing and maintaining positive & compliant tenant relationships between the mall management and the retailers operating within the mall. Their primary goal is to ensure that the retailers have a smooth and successful experience in the mall, leading to increased customer satisfaction and footfall.


PERFORMANCE DRIVEN CULTURE: WHAT WILL YOU BE MEASURED AGAINST


  • Assume daily point of contact for retailer relationship management for tenant portfolio.
  • Foster closer relationship between tenants and the management team.
  • Ensure all tenants and key stakeholders are aware of the standards, products, and services.
  • Attend to needs of tenants in shopping mall.
  • Appropriate use of retail knowledge to develop sustainability strategies.
  • Ability to establish relationships with all DM retailers
  • Evaluate and provides advice to tenants on matters such as shop concept, image, merchandise, selling strategies and services.
  • Manage projects to meet key objectives that drive the performance of tenants.
  • Maintain systems for collating and reporting on retail development and performance.
  • Collection and evaluation of tenant sales data trends
  • Monitor and analyze tenants’ mid to long term performances to ensure tenants’ performance
  • meets Dubai Mall objectives.
  • Provide report performance metrics to the senior Mall Management team.
  • Work with marketing to implement center campaigns/initiatives.
  • Ensure operational initiatives are delivered via retailer acceptance.
  • Operation by all retailers within lease, regulatory and tenant handbook obligations
  • Identify and ensure that standards are communicated to all tenants & implemented accordingly.
  • Regularly review and improve operational systems and processes.
  • Monitor and measure tenant compliance to specified standards to ensure their operation within guidelines of their signed lease agreement, regulations, and Tenant Handbook obligations.
  • Provide support to tenants on new store opening/renovations and closures.
  • Close coordination between health & safety and tenants

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED


• Minimum 7 years of Retail experience and knowledge about F&B speciality tenant relation operations

• Strong communication, relationship building and motivational skills

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university

• English (Native or Fluent), Arabic (preferred)
