HR Generalist

Job Purpose:

The HR Generalist is responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support to enhance employee engagement, ensure policy compliance, and drive organizational growth. This role focuses on fostering a positive work environment, managing employee relations, analyzing HR data for actionable insights, and coordinating training programs to support professional development. By serving as a key resource for HR-related matters, the HR Generalist ensures that HR initiatives align with organizational goals and comply with legal requirements, contributing to a productive, engaged, and compliant workforce.

Roles and responsibilities:

Employee Engagement and Relations

  • Manage and implement HR programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and development.
  • Organize activities and initiatives that promote employee well-being and a positive work environment.
  • Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and advice on conflict resolution and employee discipline.

HR Policies and Compliance

  • Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labour laws and regulations, staying updated on changes that impact HR practices HR Data and Reporting
  • Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and develop action plans based on insights gained from HR data.

Training and Development

  • Coordinate employee training programs to support skill development and career growth.
  • Maintain records of employee training and ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.

General HR Support

  • Act as a key resource for HR-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses.
  • Assist in the organization and implementation of HR events and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an SR. HR Executive or HR Generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulations GCC Countries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently to various store locations.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems - SAP (preferred).
  • Retail experience (preferred)
