KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Reports to Supervisor for daily work activities, next day / bi-weekly work plan, apprise him of required spares, spares availability at site / in stores and issue MR.
• Obtain work permits from his supervisor, review work assigned, carry out TBT with technicians, and arrange for the necessary transport, material, tools and equipment to complete the task.
• Carry out assigned routine preventive and corrective maintenance, including replacement work of damaged parts and arranging for test runs as necessary. Ensure the equipment performance is as per its designed function.
• Troubleshoot faulty equipment and carry out equipment basic condition monitoring.
• Issue comprehensive daily activity reports in MAXIMO outlining the findings, the cause of faults, the nature of the work and the materials, labor and time taken to complete the task.
• Ensures that all maintenance activities are conducted within ADNOC COP, company standing instructions and procedures and good oil industry practice.
• Ensure all tools and test equipment are kept clean and serviceable, and advise line supervisor of additional /replacement tools requirements.
• Provide coaching to newly employed technicians and dedicate sufficient time to develop UAE national developees.
• Using Maximo computerized maintenance system for daily activity updates, spare par requisition etc.
• Contribute in preparing daily work permit pack including Job Safe Analysis (JSA), Safe Work Practice check sheet and conducting TBT.
• Act as mechanical supervisor in his absence.
