Warehouse Supervisor

Our client, which is a leading FMCG distribution company based in Dubai is currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of their warehouse. The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure the efficient and safe handling of goods, maintain inventory accuracy, supervise a team of warehouse staff, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track product movement, and assist with inventory control to minimize discrepancies.
  • Ensure the safe operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures are followed.
  • Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on safety procedures, equipment handling, and best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on warehouse performance, including inventory levels, productivity metrics, and safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
  • Resolve any issues or concerns related to warehouse activities, addressing employee performance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Participate in performance reviews, provide feedback, and assist in employee development.


Qualifications:

  • A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
