Business Unit Purpose: The Commercial Non-Airline Food Service division supports the hospitality industry by providing a diverse range of food service products across Distribution, Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), Retail, and Hotels, Restaurants, Catering, and Cafes (HORECA). The projected budget for fiscal year 2024-2025 is AED 27 million, reflecting a 12.5% growth from the previous year*s AED 24 million.
Key Result Areas:
- Achieve annual sales targets by strategically planning and executing sales initiatives, delivering exceptional customer service, and expanding the customer base through targeted outreach, cold calling and relationship management.
- Assist in identifying and pursuing potential clients by conducting market research, networking, and attending industry events to help expand the customer base and support new business growth.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure timely payment collection and maintenance of detailed records of account activities to meet top-line sales goal and agreed gross profit margins.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations that showcase the unique features and benefits of our food products, tailoring presentations to meet the specific needs and interests of clients.
- Support the negotiation of commercial terms and the preparation of proposals in accordance with the Company standards, ensuring agreements are mutually beneficial and aligned with company policies, while also handling necessary documentation and follow-ups.
- Conduct regular follow-ups, and address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally to maintain client relationships through exceptional customer service.
- Maintain advisory relationship with key account stakeholders and internal partners by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions
- Prepare and attain sales objectives by developing detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans, monitoring progress, and adjusting strategies to ensure alignment with Company targets and market conditions.

- Minimum of 6 years equivalent field experience.
- Extensive background in food service sales within the UAE market.
- Proven track record in key account management and sales within the food service sector.
- Demonstrated success in consistently meeting annual sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- In-depth knowledge of the UAE food industry, including key stakeholders and market dynamics.
- Familiarity with export procedures and ex-works terms is advantageous.
- Possess an established client database.
- Comprehensive understanding of food service across diverse sectors, encompassing new product development, distribution, retail, HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering, and Cafes), and QSR (Quick Service Restaurants) segments.
