MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To support and guide quality and patient safety initiatives for the business unit to ensure achievement of company goals and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Monitor and guide quality and patient safety initiatives aimed at achieving JCIA accreditation standards
- Provide guidance to business to achieve quality and patient safety standards by means of relevant policies and procedures
- Implement appropriate and effective training programmes aimed at educating business on sound quality and patient safety measures
- Schedule and execute quality and patient safety audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and best practice
- Support business with quality improvement metrics and related analytics, including periodic reviews of the effectiveness of implemented quality and patient safety measures
- Monitor and manage the clinical and non-clinical risk management programme, including the management of the environmental health and safety programmes
Skills,Experience and Education
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- A relevant formal qualification in medicine or other related clinical discipline
- A relevant degree or diploma in Quality Improvement
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years' experience in developing and leading quality projects or related initiatives within a hospital setting
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of UAE regulatory requirements related to patient safety and quality improvement in healthcare
- Development and implementation of training programmes
- Quality improvement methodologies and best practices
- Well developed verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office
- Data analytics and methodologies
