  • Asking customers about their style preferences
  • Using hairdressing equipment, such as clippers, scissors, and shampoo
  • Monitoring the use of coloring chemicals to avoid damaging customers' hair
  • Cleaning the workspace after each haircut
  • Advising customers on how to care for their hair themselves
  • Demonstrating hair care products
  • Ensuring that instruments are sanitized before use with each customer
