Join Our Growing Pet Services Team!
We’re a fast-growing pet services company offering boarding, daycare, grooming, and training. We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Coordinator to be physically present on-site and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee dog check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate handover of each dog’s health and care requirements to the team.
- Communicate feeding routines, medications, and special care instructions to the appropriate staff.
- Monitor the wellbeing of dogs on-site, flag any concerns, and guide the Customer Support team to communicate with pet parents.
- Track food consumption, manage restocking, and coordinate with the Admin team to ensure payments are up to date.
- Schedule and oversee vet visits, ensuring timely updates are shared with clients via the Customer Support team.
- Keep an eye on van schedules for transport and mobile grooming, proactively manage any delays, and update the support team.
- Monitor and replenish inventory for all service areas and liaise with suppliers when restocking is needed.
- Handle client concerns and complaints with professionalism, empathy, and a problem-solving mindset.
- Stay calm under pressure and juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Skills
Requirements:
- 6 days a week | 10-hour working shifts
- Prior experience in operations (experience in pet-related businesses is a plus)
- A genuine love for animals and comfort being around dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Tech-savvy and confident navigating digital tools and systems
- Excellent English communication skills—both written and spoken
- Strong multitasking abilities and a cool head when handling client frustrations or operational hiccups
