We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our onboard hospitality team. The ideal candidate will craft high-quality coffee beverages while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at sea and enjoys creating memorable guest experiences.
Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, smoothies, and specialty creations.
Innovate and craft new cold drink recipes tailored to seasonal themes, guest preferences, and brand standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, counters, and seating.
Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering recommendations and ensuring satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies proactively.
Ensure compliance with onboard hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a barista in a high-volume setting.
Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team and adapt to a dynamic, multicultural environment.
STCW Certification (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) is mandatory.
Must include Basic Safety Training modules: Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, Personal Survival Techniques, Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities, and Elementary First Aid.
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
