Our focus is on academic quality, consistency of assessment, and alignment with internationally recognised learning outcomes.⸻Role DescriptionThis is a part-time / project-based academic role, restricted to candidates based in Iran, for a Legal Education Assessor supporting Foundation and LLB-level law programmes.The role involves academic assessment, moderation, and review of legal education content and student assessments delivered within a UK-style framework. The assessor will evaluate coursework, examinations, and assessment tools to ensure academic rigor, clarity of marking criteria, and consistency with defined learning outcomes.The role is purely academic and does not involve legal practice, regulatory approval, or professional certification activities.⸻Key Responsibilities • Review and assess Foundation and LLB-level law assessments, including essays, problem questions, and examinations • Apply marking criteria and provide academic feedback in line with programme learning outcomes • Support moderation and standardisation of assessments across cohorts • Review course and assessment materials for academic coherence and clarity • Advise on the design and improvement of assessment tools and rubrics • Prepare brief academic reports summarising assessment findings and recommendations • Collaborate with programme teams to support continuous academic improvement⸻Location & Eligibility • Location: Iran (mandatory) • Work mode: Remote / academic collaboration • Contract type: Project-based / part-time • This role is open only to candidates currently based in Iran⸻Qualifications & ExperienceEssential • Strong academic background in Law • Demonstrated knowledge of legal education, preferably within Common Law / UK-style curricula • Experience in academic assessment, marking, moderation, or curriculum review • Excellent analytical and written communication skills • High attention to detail and academic judgmentDesirable • Experience with Foundation or undergraduate (LLB-level) law programmes • Familiarity with UK or international legal education frameworks • Experience preparing assessment reports or academic reviews • Master’s degree (LLM) or higher in Law or a related field⸻Important Notes • This role is academic in nature only • UK professional legal qualifications (Bar / SRA) are NOT required • No court work, legal representation, or regulatory authority involvement • Suitable for academics, lecturers, tutors, or legal educators
