Job Description:

-The Specialist Trading Operations is responsible for optimizing the deal P&L (profit & loss) through efficient cargo planning by communicating

updates in a timely and organised manner. They will report to the Manager Trading Operations and will actively manage all voyages by supervising

cargo orders sent by Specialists to vessel owners, negotiating with terminal operators, counterparties and port authorities to optimize the logistics

and minimize costs. They will assist the chartering team with vessel clearance, freight calculations and pre and post fixture optimization of storage

tankers

-Supporting counterparts for timely nomination of vessel, possession of clean LC/PCG, receipt of documentary instruction/sending of documentary instruction. LC vetting on all operational related points.

-Support the development and maintenance of good relations with Counterparts and Stakeholders (both Internal and External) to ensure smooth operations. Also, to

-Get acquainted with latest trends in international oil & gas trade business.

-Support Shipping & Terminal Operations for products including Inter-Tank Transfers, Loading & Discharging Operations.

-Processing of demurrage claims payable as well as receivable including negotiating with the owners/counterparty.

-Execution of Charter parties ensuring the compliance to the terms and maintaining AGT Co interest.

-Prepare all trade data on SAP for all trades immediately after completion of physical operation.

Minimum Qualification

·        Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Economics, Engineering or Management. MBA Preferred.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

·        Possesses 3-5 years of experience in managing large trading and supply portfolios

·        Must be well-versed in the complexities of physical trading

·        Understanding of logistics operations, specifically marine transportation
