Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations under supervision.
- Document medical findings accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system and ensure proper coding and billing support.
- Develop and implement evidence-based diagnostic plans and initial treatment strategies for common acute and chronic conditions.
- Order and interpret basic diagnostic tests (labs, imaging) as per clinical indications; facilitate referrals when necessary.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide timely follow-up and discharge instructions.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, specialists, and allied health professionals.
- Participate in rounds, case reviews, and clinical meetings to enhance clinical decision-making.
- Adhere to clinical governance, safety protocols, infection control, and ethical standards.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Medical degree from a recognized university (Bachelor's) and eligibility for internship/training programs in the UAE.
- Relevant exposure to clinical rotations or an internship in general medicine or primary care settings.
- Basic knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations, medical ethics, and patient privacy laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to empathize with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound clinical judgment.
