A leading architectural and decorative lighting solutions company based in Dubai is seeking a Business Development Manager to support its continued growth across high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality projects in the UAE.
This role is ideal for a professional experienced in specification-driven, project-based sales, with strong relationships across architects, interior designers, consultants, and developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities within architectural, residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
- Build and manage relationships with architects, interior designers, lighting designers, MEP consultants, and developers.
- Drive specification of lighting solutions from concept stage through tender and final award.
- Manage a healthy sales pipeline and meet assigned revenue targets.
- Coordinate with internal design and technical teams on proposals, submittals, and quotations.
- Support negotiations and deal closures while maintaining margin discipline.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging design requirements.
Skills
Candidate Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in architectural lighting, electrical products, or specification-based building materials sales.
- Strong understanding of project-based sales cycles in the UAE.
- Established network within the architecture and interior design community.
- Ability to read drawings, BOQs, and collaborate with technical teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field preferred.
