- Recruit and mentor young and experienced engineers regionally, ensuring they receive the necessary training and development to meet Siemens Energy standards.
- Plan and monitor the development and certification of Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine team members while continuously upskilling their technical expertise.
- Strategically plan and allocate Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine teams for service outages and global installation projects based on skills, experience, and project budgets.
- Foster regional and global collaboration within teams to enhance training opportunities, improve resource utilization, and drive digitization efforts for sustainable service business.
- Oversee daily service operations, manage administrative tasks (e.g., timesheets, expenses, and delegations), monitor team performance, and ensure compliance.
- Visit field projects, support technical sales, review procedures, develop training programs, and guide quality improvement initiatives while managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Skills
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering with 5–10 years of relevant on-site experience.
- Strong knowledge of technical equipment, wear and tear mechanisms, and ability to work with technical documentation in power generation or Oil & Gas industries.
- Expertise in mechanical maintenance activities, with the ability to work under pressure, hands-on, in challenging conditions.
- Proficiency in digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) and additional IT skills, with knowledge of industry standards for quality, health, safety, and environmental protection.
- Fluent in English (written and oral), with proficiency in other languages being advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a collaborative team player, and willingness to travel extensively across the Middle East region.
