Job Title: Sales Executive – Logistics & NVOCC


Job Description

We are looking for a high-energy, target-driven Sales Executive to join our commercial team. Your primary focus will be to identify new business opportunities, secure ocean and air freight contracts, and promote our NVOCC services. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle—from lead generation and cold calling to closing deals and managing key accounts.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and acquire new B2B clients (traders, manufacturers, and BCOs) to increase market share in the UAE and GCC.
  • Lead Generation: Actively prospect through cold calling, field visits, and networking within the logistics industry.
  • Service Promotion: Market our core services, including NVOCC (FCL/LCL), Sea Freight, Air Freight, and Customs Clearance.
  • Quotation & Negotiation: Prepare competitive freight quotes in coordination with the Pricing Manager and negotiate terms to close deals.
  • Client Retention: Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring high service levels and identifying opportunities for upselling/cross-selling.
  • Reporting: Maintain an active sales pipeline in the CRM and provide weekly reports on volume (TEUs) and revenue targets.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor pricing and trade lane trends to provide feedback to the management team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years of proven sales experience in Freight Forwarding or NVOCC within the UAE.
  • Network: Must possess an active "book of business" or a strong network of shippers and consignees in the region.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and port procedures (Jebel Ali/KIZAD).
  • Communication: Persuasive verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is a significant advantage).
  • Driving License: A valid UAE Driving License is mandatory for client visits.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Nationality: Any (Diverse backgrounds are welcome).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Logistics.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, resilient, and capable of working under the pressure of monthly TEU targets.
