About the Role:

As a Technician based in Dubai, you will support our construction testing operations by performing Pre-Load Tests (PLT), concrete quality assessments, and operating Forklift Trucks (FLT). This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with up to 1 year of experience seeking hands-on technical growth within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct PLT (Pre-Load Testing) according to standard operating procedures

Perform concrete sampling and testing to assess quality and compliance

Operate FLT (Forklift Truck) for material handling and site logistics

Maintain accurate test records and prepare daily reports

Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure reliability

Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site

Collaborate with engineers and project teams to resolve technical issues

Assist in inventory management of materials and equipment

Skills

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or vocational certification in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field

0-1 years of hands-on experience in PLT, concrete testing, or FLT operation

Basic understanding of material testing procedures and quality standards

Valid FLT (forklift) operation license

Strong attention to detail and accurate data recording

Ability to follow safety protocols and work in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in English (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in construction or testing projects within the UAE

Familiarity with Dubai Municipality codes and local building regulations

Certification in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) best practices

Basic computer literacy, including MS Excel for data entry

Knowledge of Arabic language
