Discovery Dunes, one of Discovery Land Company’s exclusive private communities, is seeking a Golf Operations Supervisor to help lead the day-to-day golf experience and bring the Discovery standard to life for our members and guests.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in luxury environments, enjoys working with people, and understands that great golf operations are all about details, flow, and feeling.
✨ About the Role As Golf Operations Supervisor, you’ll work closely with the Golf Operations Manager, leading the golf services team on shift and ensuring a seamless, memorable experience - from arrival to the final putt. You’ll be the go-to person on the ground, guiding the team, supporting members, and ensuring every touchpoint reflects Discovery Land Company’s standards.
✨ Key Responsibilities:Lead the golf operations team on shift, managing the full member and guest journey Support daily operations including valet, practice facilities, on-course services, and post-round experience Assist with onboarding, training, scheduling, and daily coaching of Golf Services Attendants, starters, and marshals Maintain Discovery Land Company service standards while fostering a fun, family-style culture Act as a key point of contact for member feedback and service recovery Coordinate closely with agronomy, valet, golf shop, and other departments Oversee opening and closing procedures (cart charging, range setup/breakdown, equipment storage) Ensure carts, shuttles, and amenities are consistently clean, stocked, and presentation-ready Assist with inventory tracking, monthly counts, and reordering of amenities Step in as Manager on Duty when required Bring creativity and fresh ideas to enhance the golf experience Assist in the Golf Shop when needed Accurately track daily golf activity and report feedback to management
✅ What Skills & Qualifications Are Required:Previous supervisory experience in golf operations or luxury hospitality Strong knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and terminology PGA Professional preferred Confident communicator with strong leadership presence Calm, solution-oriented, and composed under pressure Comfortable managing diverse teams and cultures Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays) Physically able to work outdoors and meet operational demands
