Junior Accountant

Location: Nadd Al Hamar, Dubai - UAE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in accounting while gaining hands-on experience with day-to-day financial operations. The Junior Accountant will assist with maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily accounting operations, including data entry and reconciliations

Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, and receipts

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

Maintain accurate financial records and proper documentation

Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and basic accounting standards

Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum of 1 year of prior accounting experience in the UAE (preferred)

Basic understanding of accounting principles

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is an advantage
