About The Role


Restaurant Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent guest service. The position is responsible for managing the operational areas within the restaurant dining room and deputizing General Manager and Assistant General Manager during their absence. Person in this role will focus on running dinner shifts, conducting daily trainings, managing weekly schedules and labor cost, following the health & safety protocols, all while adhering to all company policies and procedures.


Key Duties and Responsibilities



  • Responsible to run the day-to-day restaurant operation with the assistant managers, leading the guest service from the front.

  • Be the point of contact for any group booking, assisting with the planning, and executing the events on the day.

  • Deputize General Manager & Assistant General Manager in running the outlet successfully during their absence.

  • Overlook the training program & manuals in line with brand partner standards and Atlantis Dubai best practice.

  • Drive service excellence and guest satisfaction daily.

  • Ensure reservations are maximized by liaising with the reservations team and other departments.

  • Ensure all guest feedback is compiled, discussed with action plan for continual improvement.

  • Host daily briefings and team meetings, actively participate in discussion, brainstorming sessions and solving problems, and ensure execution of agreed action plans.

  • Continuously seek ways to improve the guest experience and service standards.

  • Guide the team in relation to upselling and provide regular feedback against targets and KPIs.

  • Ensure that staffing requirements are addressed, and applicants selected according to company procedures.

  • Be an excellent brand ambassador, ensure the standards of Atlantis Dubai are maintained.

  • Be aware of market expectations and develop strategies for optimal results.

  • Ensure adherence to cash handling procedures in accordance with company policy.

  • Build strong and positive professional relationships in the workplace ensuring your outlet interacts with others in a positive, professional and solution focused manner.

  • Ensure stock control is managed by delegating tasks as appropriate.

  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu and an understanding of the wine list.

  • Proactively communicate with the kitchen regarding menu changes, availabilities, etc.

About You


We are looking for candidates with at least 3-5 years of experience in a managerial capacity, ideally supervising a large and diverse team. You should have solid background in a luxury international restaurant and preferably experience working with F&B brand partners. To succeed in this role, you will need to effectively influence through knowledge, relationship management, and trust, as well as demonstrate ability to work under pressure and deal with high stress situations while exercising sound judgment and decision making. Interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization are an important part of the role as well.
