VAM Systems is currently looking for  Sr Data & Governance Engineer (Offshore) for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:

Experience : 6+ years

Mandatory Skills

• Expertise in Data Management, Enterprise data modelling, governance & data quality assessment practices. Understanding of DAMA – DMBOK subject areas and ability to work on those areas.
• DAMA certification.
• Expertise in building and managing scalable data pipelines on platforms like AWS and Databricks
• Strong hands-on experience in ETL development, data integration, and real-time data streaming
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and other relevant programming languages
• Experience with data engineering tools and frameworks like Databricks and Apache Spark
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data lake architecture Experience in designing and implementing AWS cloud data and analytics architecture
• Understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices
• Ability to automate data preparation, integration tasks, and implement best practices for data governance and security
• Hands-on experience with automated testing and continuous monitoring for data pipelines

Good to Have:

• Certification in cloud platforms such as AWS and Databricks INTERNAL
• Experience with DevOps practices in data engineering, including CI/CD for data pipelines
• Strong collaboration skills with data scientists, IT teams, and business stakeholders
