Job Brief:We are seeking a qualified and experienced
QA/QC Engineer to join a building construction project team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with established quality standards, approved drawings, and project specifications while supporting continuous quality improvement across site operations.
Job Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and inspection plans for building construction projects.
- Review and ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections and audits on materials, work processes, and completed construction works to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with approved quality requirements.
- Identify non-conformities and initiate corrective and preventive actions in coordination with project teams.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including inspection reports, test results, NCRs, and audit records.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to resolve quality-related issues.
- Perform testing and verification of construction materials as per project specifications and standards.
- Assist in the preparation, implementation, and review of project quality plans and risk assessments.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality control throughout all stages of construction.
- Ensure site staff are aware of and properly trained in quality control procedures and documentation requirements.
Job Requirements:- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the UAE building construction sector (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality control practices.
- Familiarity with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and local authority requirements.
- Proficiency in QA/QC documentation systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines effectively.
