Carry out welding, cutting, and fabrication on heavy equipment and heavy vehicles
Repair and reinforce chassis, frames, buckets, booms, arms, trailers, and attachments
Perform welding using ARC / SMAW, MIG, and Gas welding techniques
Conduct cutting and gouging using gas cutting and grinding tools
Read and interpret fabrication drawings and repair instructions
Inspect welded joints for strength, alignment, and quality
Work closely with mechanics and supervisors during repair and overhaul jobs
Follow HSE and safety procedures at all times
Maintain welding machines, tools, and consumables
Support breakdown and emergency repair work at site if required
