PowerLink IT & Security Solutions, a leading provider of IT infrastructure and security solutions in the UAE for over 25 years, is seeking an experienced Sales Specialist for ELV Systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, and other low-voltage security systems to corporate, government, and commercial clients across the UAE.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the ELV systems sector (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Intercom, AV systems)
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, government entities, construction companies, and facility management firms
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to understand client requirements
- Prepare and present compelling technical and commercial proposals
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers
- Conduct regular follow-ups with existing clients to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure smooth project handover and client satisfaction
Market Intelligence
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities
- Provide feedback to management on market requirements and emerging opportunities
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all proposals comply with SIRA, ADMCC, Civil Defense, and other UAE regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in CRM system
- Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates for management
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Business Administration, or related field
- Diploma holders with substantial experience will be considered
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven sales experience in ELV systems within the UAE market
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Experience selling to government entities, healthcare, hospitality, commercial, or industrial sectors preferred
- Familiarity with UAE tendering and procurement processes is an advantage
Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of ELV systems including CCTV (IP and Analog), Access Control, Fire Alarm, Intercom, and AV systems
- Knowledge of SIRA approval requirements and ADMCC certification processes
- Familiarity with major brands (Hikvision, Honeywell, Bosch, Axis, Dahua, etc.)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
Certifications (Preferred)
- SIRA-approved training or certification
- Manufacturer certifications from leading brands
- Fire & Life Safety certifications
