We are seeking a visionary leader to drive security architecture and emerging technology strategies at MashreqBank. The VP will play a pivotal role in embedding security into the organization's DNA, guiding the design, development, and deployment of secure systems and services. This role demands a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of security advisory services and architecture governance.
Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Security Architecture team, providing strategic direction and oversight.
• Advise and consult with business units on security best practices and emerging technology risks.
• Develop and implement security architecture frameworks and standards across the organization.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in security architecture and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align security strategies with business goals.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for emerging technology implementations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to security.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Represent MashreqBank in industry forums and conferences, sharing best practices and insights.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security architecture.
• Proven leadership and management experience in a security architecture role.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Experience with emerging technologies, including cloud computing, IoT, and AI/ML.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach to security challenges.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
• Experience in the financial industry is an advantage.
