Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed project schedules (baseline, revised, recovery) using Primavera P6
- Develop work breakdown structures (WBS) and activity sequencing
- Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly
- Analyze delays, risks, and critical path impacts
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients
- Coordinate with site engineers to collect progress data
- Support claims, extensions of time (EOT), and variation analysis
- Review subcontractor schedules and integrate into the master program
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements (FIDIC) and client specifications
- Participate in progress meetings and provide planning input
- Assist in resource loading, cash flow forecasts, and productivity analysis
Skills
- Education:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Work Experience(Years):3–8 years of planning experience in construction projects (UAE experience preferred). Familiar with FIDIC contracts and UAE construction practices
- Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 to effectively manage timelines.
- Strong analytical skills to assess project performance data and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of construction processes and methodologies to ensure practical planning and execution.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements while maintaining quality standards.
- Experience in risk management to proactively address potential project challenges.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Fluency in English is required. Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory.
