Our client, a leading provider of irrigation and landscaping services is looking for a Head of Contracting to be based in Dubai. You will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of contracting projects, while managing client and consultant relationships and leading the contracting team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and up to quality standards.

• • Oversee all operational aspects of landscaping construction projects, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of site activities (on site visits), coordination of resources, and ensuring project delivery aligns with company goals.
  • Work closely with the Contracts/Commercial Manager, who will handle the commercial and contractual aspects, ensuring seamless collaboration between operations and commercial teams.
  • Liaise with all departments (internal & external) towards the successful completion of projects (pre & post preparation phase)
  • Project Execution: Lead the operational execution of landscaping construction projects, ensuring all works are completed according to the agreed specifications, timelines, allocated budgets and quality standards.
  • Team Management: Oversee site supervisors, project managers, and labour teams, ensuring optimal resource allocation and productivity across all active sites.
  • Scheduling & Planning: Develop detailed project schedules, allocate resources, and manage the day-to-day operations on-site to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure that all projects are executed in accordance with UAE health and safety regulations and company HSE policies.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures to ensure all works meet the required standards and client expectations.
  • Resource Coordination: Manage the allocation of machinery, manpower and materials to various projects, ensuring resources are used efficiently.
  • Subcontractor Management: Oversee the performance of subcontractors on-site, ensuring they comply with project requirements and timelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the operational point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and resolution of any site-related issues.
  • Reporting: Provide regular operational reports to senior management, including project progress, resource usage, and any potential risks or delays.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks that could impact project timelines or quality.
  • Manpower Planning – Forecast and plan workforce requirements to ensure optimal staffing levels, efficiency, and resource allocation across operations.
  • Profit & Loss (P&L) Management – Oversee financial performance by monitoring costs, revenues, and budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness in operations.

• • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 15 years of experience in managing landscaping or construction projects in the UAE.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction operations, landscaping techniques, and UAE regulations.
