Responsibilities:
• Design and develop mechanical and opto‑mechanical systems, components, and precision tools supporting assembly and alignment.
• Perform simulations and analyses (including structural, thermal, and vibration assessments) to validate and optimize engineering designs.
• Conduct tolerance studies and apply manufacturing and assembly standards to prepare designs for integration and testing.
• Lead the integration and testing of mechanical and opto‑mechanical subsystems, ensuring proper documentation of results and findings.
• Support cross‑functional engineering teams by contributing to technical discussions, documentation, and research publications.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate in multidisciplinary environments to drive successful project outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Strong proficiency in 3D modeling, mechanical design, and simulation methodologies.
• Experience conducting mechanical analyses (thermal, stress, strain, vibration) and applying industry standards.
