• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Ensuring strict compliance with UAE VAT regulations and the newly introduced Corporate Tax regulations.
• Treasury & Cash Management: Monitoring cash flow, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and managing banking relationships to optimize working capital.
• Audit & Internal Controls: Leading internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy in financial data, and establishing robust internal control procedures to prevent fraud.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Leading the annual budgeting process, conducting variance analysis, and providing forecasting to guide business decisions.
• Team Leadership: Supervising, mentoring, and training the accounting team to ensure high performance and accuracy in daily operations.
• Payroll & Statutory Compliance: Overseeing payroll processing and ensuring adherence to UAE labor laws.
• Technology & System Optimization: Utilizing and improving ERP systems (e.g., SUN System, SAP, QuickBooks) to streamline financial operations. 

Skills

Key Requirements

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA are highly preferred.
• Experience: Several years of experience in senior accounting roles, preferably within the UAE to understand local regulations.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of VAT/Corporate Tax, excellent communication skills (English required, Arabic is an advantage), proficiency in MS Excel, and strong leadership abilities.
